EX-COMP KIDS Non-Profit

Our vision in starting B.V.S.S. CVMP feat EX-COMP (Boise Valley Sports Series) was to create a Non Profit for kids and teens to help fight depression, social anxiety and suicide. Since the pandemic in 2019 teen depression and suicide has risen by 10%. We believe wholeheartedly that this is due to the lock downs, social distancing, video games, social media and lack of interaction with others. So we here at Extreme Entertainment created an extreme sports competition where kids can get out of the house, get off their phones, get off video games and socialize in person with other kids with the same interests. They meet new friends, learn team building skills as well as sports skills and have something to strive for in friendly competition. Our mission statement and motto is “Disconnect to Reconnect” which means to disconnect from electronics and social media to reconnect with society in social settings. We are not here to get rich but to rather raise money to help kids and teens get the counseling and help they need to live a long and healthy life. The money raised is used to put on these events as well and pay for counselors, medication and get them the help they so desperately need. It also goes to help purchase equipment for them to be able to do these extra curricular activities. We have lost too many to just sit by and continue to watch it happen and we feel it’s time to do something about it. With the community and small/large businesses help we can achieve this goal.
